Hyperflow has completed an evolution of the MY02-MY05 Top Mount Intercooler for the MY06-07 WRX and STi.
Building on the excellent performance and quality of our existing top mount, significant rework of the design was necessary for the MY06-07 WRX.

Hyperflow does not recommend fitment of early model Top Mount Intercoolers to the MY06-07 2.5L WRX.
In test fitting on our own MY06 STi, and a standard MY06 WRX subtle change in the mounting, throttle body port orientation and Back Tank has been completed. We have test run the new MY06-07 TMIC for 3 months on our own car, to assure perfect fit, no stress points, and no rub points under varied conditions.
The MY06-07 Hyperflow Top Mount Intercooler introduces the split rear tank design to optimise flow. On a stock MY06 STi tested on the MRT Performance dyno the power gain was 12 kw at the hubs with no other change. For the ultimate Top Mount Intercooler specify Hyperflow.
