HyperFlow Cold Air Intakes and Rampods are dyno and track proven products.

We have proven on the track and Dyno that our Cold Air Intakes do not cause lean out conditions to make increased power. (See our Technical Bulletin October 2006 for dyno results)
On our MY06 WRX STi, the cold Air Intake increased power by 15kw at the wheels (from 159.2 kw to 174.3 kw).
It should be noted the HyperFlow Cold Air Intake would increase induction noise with the free flowing Air Filter. We do provide an option on the Air Intake Filter to reduce noise, however this does affect the power output.

FILTER CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

CLEANING:
Wash using mineral turps. Use a turps soaked cloth and wipe dust from the filter surface. Service every 10,000km, however if driving in dusty conditions service at 5,000km.

RE-OILING:
Mix “Filter Fix” oil with mineral turps at 50/50 ratio. Apply mix to the entire foam surface then pad excess until foam is moist, but not wet.

WARNING:
Strongly advise against using filter oil designed for cotton gauze filters. This filter oil may seem similar but it is far from it. If you use this type of oil you may run the risk of severely damaging your engine.
